this is marge. and her thankgiving turkey.
marge has a few years behind her belt. but she still worked hard to make the thanksgiving dinner. as four hours of roasting came to a close, all the ladies gathered around the crock pot or whatever it was. they opened it and gasped in awe. it was as if time had stopped and the most important thing in the world was that pot. i swear it reminded me of a movie. Pleasantville. perfect Americana life. she was proud of that turkey. it looked really good. so good in fact that she wanted to document it. marge and the turkey. her piece of art. her culinary genius. keeping the starving boys away for just 5 minutes more so she could take it all in. the perfect golden skin, the smell. and then they cut it. but for that one moment or so, it was just marge and her beautiful turkey.
