Terunyan Village, Bali, Indonesia

The Terunyan village is isolated from everything on the Batur lake. Their only form of transport is to take boats across. Without these, they wouldn't be able to lead their lives.

This is actually spookier than I first thought when viewing from the thumbnail.

reminds me of movies like Anaconda, Jurassic Park, Jaws etc.

the fact that you dont see anyone in the boat, and the calmness of the water + the mist in the air, feels like sumthin went terribly wrong.

That place was definitely spooky. The water was really calm because it's in the middle of a crater and no wind really gets there.
Thanks :D

The reflection of the boat is so clear, and the fog in the background gives this an air of mystery. I like this a lot.

Thank you.
The day was really cloudy and misty which is the reason for the mysterious aura.

I definitely think that days like that are one of the best times to take pictures. It just adds another dimension to the whole feel of the piece.
