Artist's Comments

the most important person in the wedding ceremony.

she had a mind of her own. her rules. the wedding had to go to her schedule.

just two minutes before she was bored. didn't want to do this anymore.

and yet

with full composure

she floated by in the bleach white dress, scattering rose petals slowly as she zigzagged down the aisle.

my first actual wedding shoot. give me some feedback.
120s from the wedding should be back tomorrow i hope.

Great job at capturing the implied motion in her arm. The focal depth is absolutely perfect. The fact the image is taken from her level, to keep from looking down on her is also very cool, but the headroom still keeps her short. The only thing I'd say, is watch out in your background, you have someone taking a picture of her as well, I would say try to avoid that any time you can, as hard as it is. I know I've taken quite a few photos and saw something in the background that just made me slap my head.

Very nice - it is a moment that she, her parents, and the new couple will treasure. Many weddings are shot with the traditional poses and nothing more. You have added something special. Kudos.

Your first shot looks very professional! I love looking at other people's wedding shots. It's so great. Little flower girls always have a mind of their own. At my cousin's wedding she was wiping her nose on her dress. At my wedding, the two were fighting over who got to sit on the isle cap to see me come down the isle. So I split them up and put one on each side.

What an adorable picture! Usually wedding pictures are of the bride and groom, but you included another person from the wedding party, which is great. And it's such an artistic wedding picture, not the typical. I love it.
