these men are unemployed. they sit around and do nothing. sit on the tracks and smoke.

what are they thinking?

i don't know. i can't tell you.

maybe about how life isn't fair.

but isn't that the beauty of life? that it isn't fair?

these men just sat there on the tracks. a train passed 5 minutes ago and the next one will be there in 10.

but they just sit there, unphased.

sometimes i wish that i wasn't in this rat race.

and i could just sit there on the train tracks, think and have a smoke.

until the next train comes in 10 minutes.

I love the concept of this picture. I love all these railroad pictures that you've taken. I think I favorited the one of the family. its funny...the pictures are so simalure, and at the sametime, so different.

I like the old feel this has to it..I think its mostly the black and white, but yeah..It makes it seem like those guys could have been sitting there for quite a while.

amazing photograph... very professional, and the story is really awesome.. I have also thought the same thing

I wish I could be able to sit there with them and "relax" unfortunatally I am a victum of North america, so I gotta keep on moving

This is a great photo, but this is probably the first time that a description on dA really made me think. It would be great not to have to worry about life, and to just sit around, think and relax.

I have the rat race feeling too, this photo perfectly describes the feeling I want to have on my vacation right now. At the moment, my mind is still a train on speed.

bardzo podoba mi sie ta seria anty wyscig szczurow.

ale wiesz, ostatnio u nas w tv byl program o "bezrobotnych", nie takich prawdziwych tylko takich co im sie nie chce... to chyba bylo smutniejsze... szczescie = butelka komandosa. teoretycznie ludzie bez pracy, a kiedy praca jest chetnych nie ma. wiadomo, ze to czesc grupy, ale to takie przygnebiajace...
